Why do you want to paint this mural?
I want to paint this mural because I am interested in learning how to do something new with my art and graphic design background. I want to make something that will get my name out there in a strong, positive, and impactful way. I want to help beautify my community of Los Angeles with a piece of my art that inspires those who walk by.
These artwork submissions are based off of the outlines from the solar eclipse and water color patterns I made on paper.
I was inspired by the feelings of excitement from the people around me during the eclipse. They looked to the eclipse as a sign of change, rebirth and hope for the future. Feelings I decided to capture in my art so that the hope would continue long after the natural phenomenon.
Placing this mural concept on a wall will hopefully remind people of the solar eclipse and the feelings they carried, and the courage to continue to pursue their dreams everyday with vibrance and intensity.
